Scott R. Silverman – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Scott R. Silverman, is Chief Executive Officer for C-Bond Systems, LLC. Scott is a dynamic corporate executive and lawyer that has successfully led 4 public companies over the last 20 years. He is a leader in advanced technologies and recognized as the world’s foremost expert in implantable Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) technologies. His managerial expertise includes operations, P&L management, budget, legal, investor relations, public relations and capital markets. From 2003-2011, Mr. Silverman served as Executive Chairman of VeriChip Corporation (NASDAQ:CHIP) which completed an initial public offering (IPO) on the NASDAQ in 2007, raising more than $30 million and subsequently sold to Stanley Works (NYSE:SWK) in 2008. From 2011- 2016, Mr. Silverman founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Veriteq Corporation, a leader in RFID technology for medical devices which went public in 2013 and was subsequently was sold to a leading breast implant manufacturer. Mr.Silverman is a Graduate from the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University School of Law.

James V. Latch

Mr. Latch is an executive leader with a proven track record of building new businesses and growing existing platforms profitably. He has demonstrated talent in general management, strategic innovation, business and organizational development, entrepreneurial drive and financial discipline. Mr. Latch is one of the founders and Managing Partners of LRST, LLC established in 2010. He served as President and Managing Partner of Guardian Auto Glass, LLC. Previously, Mr. Latch held various GM, VP, JV board and President positions for PPG Industries including Executive Vice President of PPG’s Auto Glass & Services Business, (PGW). Mr. Latch led the start-up of LYNX Services, LLC for PPG and the formation of the Services business to become the industry leader.

Gerald L. Ray

Mr. Ray has a varied and distinguished career in the glass industry beginning with a variety of positions in the flat and automotive glass segments. His career began with Libbey Owens Ford (LOF, now Pilkington NA) as Regional Manager for Automotive Glass. He later became Regional Vice President of Solaglas International, a South African-based manufacturer/distributor of automotive glass. He was co-owner of Western Windshields, a distribution company where he focused on expansion and improving the profit performance of the company. Western was successfully sold to PPG Industries in 1992. Mr. Ray then cofounded and was Managing Partner of Elite Auto Glass/Glaspro, a retail automotive glass business. The business became widely regarded as one of the most successful retail auto glass operations in the US successfully sold to Belron, the world’s largest retail auto glass company. In 2006 Mr. Ray founded Pacific Fabrication and Distribution, a business formed to distribute glass products to the heavy truck segment and successfully sold it to Orion in 2010. Mr. Ray is a founder and Managing Partner of LRST, LLC.

Marc E. Talbert

Mr. Talbert is an executive leader with broad experience in general management, sales and operational leadership with strengths in organizational design, strategic planning, business growth and financial discipline. He is a Managing Partner and one of the founding members of LRST, LLC. He previously served as Vice President and Managing Partner of Guardian Auto Glass, LLC. Prior to this Mr. Talbert served for 29 years with PPG Industries, holding key general management and leadership roles within PPG’s automotive replacement glass division (ARG). Mr. Talbert was part of the integration team that formed PPG Auto Glass, LLC in 2000, the joint venture between PPG and Apogee Enterprises. He served as President and board member of PPG Auto Glass until 2008.

Richard Spitzer

Richard Spitzer founded and is the Managing Principal of the Spitzer Group LLC and a senior advisor in Alder Koten’s Automotive and Technology Practices. Richard participates in consulting engagements related to leadership and organizational effectiveness. His management consulting career has been with blue-chip firms, most recently Accenture, where he was the Global Managing Partner of the Automotive and Industrial Equipment Sectors. He brings worldwide automotive expertise and has worked extensively with leading companies in the US, China, India, Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, and France. He holds a bachelor of science with honors, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration and Finance with valedictorian honors, from Southern Methodist University.

Dr. Andrew R. Barron – BSc PhD Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Barron is the Charles W. Duncan, Jr. – Welch Chair of Chemistry and also a Professor of Materials Science and NanoEngineering at Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is also the Ser Cymru Chair of Low Carbon Energy and Environment at Swansea University in the UK. He gained his BSc and PhD degrees from Imperial College (London). Dr. Barron spent eight years as a Professor of Chemistry at Harvard University after performing post-doctoral research at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of over 450 publications, 20 Patents and 5 books with current research involving the application of nanotechnology to energy and environment. Dr. Barron is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the recipient of several awards, including: Hümboldt Senior Scientist Research Award, the Corday Morgan Medal, the Meldola Medal, and the first Welch Foundation Norman Hackerman Award. Barron is the co-founder of several companies over a diverse range of industries.

Southwest Research Institute

Southwest Research Institute (SWRI) is one of the oldest and largest independent, nonprofit, applied research and development organizations in the United States. Headquartered in San Antonio, SWRI supports a staff of more than 2700 on a 1,200-acre campus housing 2 million square feet of laboratories, workshops and test facilities. The institute focuses on applied research and development in such areas as applied physics, automation and data systems, chemistry and chemical engineering, defense, aerospace, mechanical engineering and geoscience.
